Room Light Controller with Visitor Counter
This Project “Automatic Room Light Controller with Visitor Counter using Microcontroller” is a reliable circuit that takes over the task of controlling the room lights as well us counting number of persons/ visitors in the room very accurately. When somebody enters into the room then the counter is incremented by one and the light in the room will be switched ON and when any one leaves the room then the counter is decremented by one. The light will be only switched OFF until all the persons in the room go out. The total number of persons inside the room is also displayed on the seven segment displays. The microcontroller does the above job. It receives the signals from the sensors, and this signal is operated under the control of software which is stored in ROM. Microcontroller continuously monitor the Infrared Receivers, When any object pass through the IR Receiver's then the IR Rays falling on the receivers are obstructed this obstruction is sensed by the Microcontroller.


Adaptive Lighting System for Automobiles

Adaptive Lighting System for Automobiles needs no manual operation for switching ON and OFF headlight/down light when there is vehicle coming from front at night. It detects itself weather there is light from front coming vehicle or not. When there is light from front coming vehicle it automatically switches to the down light and when the vehicle passes it automatically switch back to head light. The sensitiveness of the Adaptive Lighting System for Automobiles can be adjusted.

To detect the present of an object we have used LDR and a source of light. LDR is a
special type of resistance whose value depends on the brightness of the light, which is falling on it. It has resistance of about 1 mega ohm when in total darkness, but a resistance of only about 5k ohms when brightness illuminated. It responds to a large part of light spectrum.
     
Sensitiveness can be adjusted by this variable resistance. As soon as LDR gets light the voltage of pin 2 drops of the supply voltage and pin 3 gets high and LED or buzzer that is connected to the output gets activated.

LABVIEW CONTROLLED  WIRELESS ROBO
With LabVIEW, you can use all of your hardware with a single development environment. Connectivity is made possible with driver software, which serves as the communication layer between LabVIEW and your hardware. LabVIEW driver software supplies seamless integration across multiple types of instruments, buses, and sensors, including data acquisition devices; boxed instruments; modular instruments; motion controllers and motor drives; machine vision and image processing hardware; wireless sensors; and field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs). In the rare event that a LabVIEW driver doesn’t already exist, you also can import drivers from other programming languages or use low-level communication to implement your own driver.

Here in this project we are controlling Robot with LabVIEW interfacing according to the user requirement the robot driven DC motors can be move fwd, back rotation and also the speed and angle of the robot can be changed using stepper motors. We used RF wireless communication link to connect between the transmitter and the receive units as shown in the block diagram.

PC Based Data Logger Using LabVIEW
Data acquisition is the process by which events in the real world are sampled and translated into machine-readable signals. Data acquisition typically involves sensors, transmitters and other instruments to collect signals, waveforms etc. to be processed and analyzed with a computer. The components of data acquisition systems include appropriate sensors that convert any measurement parameter to an electrical signal, which is acquired by data acquisition hardware. Acquired data typically is displayed, analyzed, and stored on a PC using LabVIEW GUI software. In our project the Temperature data was monitored by using the Microcontroller & LabVIEW.


LabVIEW based Appliance Control System:
This project can be used for the controlling of various appliances using LabVIEW.  It consist a circuit for using the serial port of a PC, for control application using software and some interface hardware. The interface circuit along with the given software can be used with the serial port of any PC for controlling up to any number of instruments. Serial  port is a simple and inexpensive tool for building computer controlled devices and projects. The simplicity and ease of programming makes serial  port popular.

PASSWORD BASED DOOR(keypad)
Now a day’s most of the systems are automated in order to face new challenges and present day requirements to achieve good results. Automated systems have less manual operations, so that the flexibility, reliabilities are high and accurate. Hence every field prefers automated control systems, especially in the field of electronics.

The goal of the project is to develop a unique system through mobile technology which can control various units of the houses, industries, and also provides a security system. Just by pressing keypad of remote telephone the user can perform ON/OFF operations on the appliances.

The project also exhibits low cost home security system which is widely employed in our daily life. This system is designed to prevent the opening of the door by unauthorized persons. The structure of home security system contains a matrix key pad. The keypad interfaced to the controller is used as the password entry system to open/close the door. As soon as the user enters the correct password, the door lock opens. If the password entered is incorrect, then a security alarm is .

The various appliances can be utilized by managing them remotely by using GSM technology, which enables the user to remotely control the operations of the appliances. Just by pressing keypad of remote telephone the user can perform ON/OFF operations on the appliances.

The project also exhibits low cost home security system which is widely employed in our daily life. This system is designed to prevent the opening of the door by unauthorized persons. The structure of home security system contains a matrix key pad, the door latch opener and a GSM modem for the security dial up interfaced to the microcontroller. The keypad interfaced to the controller is used as the password entry system to open/close the door. As soon as the user enters the correct password, the door lock opens. If the password entered is incorrect, then a security alarm is rung and at the same time it enables the security dial-up through the GSM modem interfaced to the microcontroller.


MICROCONTROLLER BASED SOLAR TRACKING SYSTEM
The objective of this project is to control the position of a solar panel in accordance with the motion of sun. Brief Methodology: This project is designed with solar panels, LDR, ADC, Microcontroller, Stepper Motor and its driving circuit. In this project two LDRs are fixed on the solar panel at two distinct points. LDR (Light Dependant Resistor) varies the resistance depending upon the light fall. The varied resistance is converted into an analog voltage signal. The analog voltage signal is then fed to an ADC. ADC is nothing but analog to digital Converter which receives the two LDR voltage signals and converts them to corresponding digital signal. Then the converted digital signal is given as the input of the microcontroller. Microcontroller receives the two digital signals from the ADC and compares them. The LDR signals are not equal except for normal incidence of sunlight. When there is a difference between LDR voltage levels the microcontroller program drives the stepper motor towards normal incidence of sunlight. 1) INTRODUCTION Renewable energy is rapidly gaining importance as an energy resource as fossil fuel prices fluctuate. At the educational level, it is therefore critical for engineering and technology students to have an understanding and appreciation of the technologies associated with renewable energy.


DESIGN AND EXECUTION OF AN EMBEDDED SUPERIORITY CONTROL SYSTEM
            The embedded quality control system (EQCS) for auto parts machining is presented, in the same time, the structure of the system and working principle are stated in details, and the implementation of both hardware and software are discussed. The System reduces the fluctuation of auto parts quality, and improves robustness and performance.
Every embedded measuring instrument contains at most eight sample channels and each channel contains a Micro displacement sensor, a measuring circuit, a sample and hold circuit, a 24-bit A/D converter and a micro controller processor. A switch transmits data from one sample channel to the embedded electronic measuring instrument according to time slice. After a period of time, measurement data must be packaged and transmitted to server, in order to realize the function of permanent storage along with data analysis, statistics and reports. Then processed data can be transmitted to mainframe server or stored locally in the embedded system. The instrument receives parameters from operator and displays curves in PC.


ASSESSMENT OF CHANGES IN UPPER AIRWAY BARRIER BY AUTOMATIC RECOGNITION OF INSPIRATORY FLOW RESTRICTION DURING SLEEP

New techniques for automatic invasive and noninvasive identification of inspiratory flow limitation (IFL) are presented. Data were collected from 11 patients with full nocturnal polysomnography and gold-standard esophageal pressure (Pes) measurement. A total of 38,782 breaths were extracted and automatically analyzed. An exponential model is proposed to reproduce the relationship between Pes and airflow of an inspiration and achieve an objective assessment of changes in upper airway obstruction.
The characterization performance of the model is appraised with three evaluation parameters: mean-squared error when estimating resistance at peak pressure, coefficient of determination, and assessment of IFL episodes. The model’s results are compared to the two best-performing models in the literature. The obtained gold-standard IFL annotations were then employed to train, test, and validate a new noninvasive automatic IFL classification system.


DECENTRALIZED COOPERATIVE MULTI ROBOT LEARNING
This project “Decentralized Cooperative Multi Robot Learning” will deal with (ie) robot1 teaches to one student robot. The main robot1 receives the data from Pc (personal computer) using RF communication, which means what is the way of the traveling. This data are stored EEPROM in the robot 1 through I2C protocol and mean while the data will be transferred through the RF transmitter to the another robot. Then this robot will follow the condition given by the first robot. Here IR sensor is used for the path way.

LOCATION-BASED SYSTEM FOR MOBILE DEVICES USING RFID
            A large number of RFID system support location based service. This RFID Location System based on the general purposed geographic location code supports monitoring of the RFID tags in real time effectively. To identify the RFID tags, we allocate the general purposed geographic location code for each region. Throughout this system, the distribution and services related with RFID can easily manage the objects. This information is given by SMS via GSM to the database receive the information and compare the detail in the database and retransmit to the host GSM, information displayed by LCD.


AUTOMATIC VEHICLE  OVER  SPEED  CONTROLLING SYSTEM  FOR  SCHOOL  AND  COLLEGE  ZONE

Unlike a general-purpose computer, such as a personal computer, an embedded system performs one or a few pre-defined tasks, usually with very specific requirements. Since the system is dedicated to specific tasks, design engineers can optimize it, reducing the size and cost of the product. Embedded system comprises of both hardware and software. Embedded system is fast growing technology in various fields like industrial automation, home appliances, automobiles, aeronautics etc., Embedded technology uses PC or a controller to do the specified task and the programming is done using assembly language programming or embedded C.
                                          Now a day’s accidents are increasing at a large pace, and various technologies are being introduced to reduce the accidents. In this project we are presenting a means to prevent speed controlling in school and college zone.

AUTOMOBILE STEALING SCRUTINIZING
INFORMATION USING WIRELESS SYSTEM
Embedded is a combination of software and hardware, when a technology is used to do a particular task it is called embedded system. Embedded system is widely used automobiles, industrial automation, home appliances, mobile and aeronautics. Embedded technology uses PC or a controller to do the specified task and the programming is done using assembly language programming or embedded C.

Our project “Vehicle Theft Identification Systemis used to intimate the vehicle theft to owner, transmitter will be placed in car unit and the receiver unit can be placed wherever needed. Transmitter will be continuously transmitting the signal which will be detected by the receiver if they are at a predetermined distance. If any theft occurs the distance between the transmitter and receiver will increase therefore receiver will not be able to detect the signal, in that case micro controller will alarm the buzzer and intimate the owner.
